Moselle Alteration
The alterations to an original 1950s house perched above Lyall Bay Beach on Wellington’s rugged south coast resulted in a warm family retreat that celebrates this lively surfers’ beach.
Careful placement of new skylights, a transformed layout and a new double-glazed connection to the deck have produced a light-filled, cosy family room with timber wall linings and shelving to soften the corners. The package is complete with eye-drawing views across Wellington harbour. This is a house that has been reinvigorated with a warm new heart.
Our house has been transformed by the renovation, making our home a place we don’t want to leave.
