Tim Lovell & Ana O’Connell
Directors, Registered Architects ANZIA
A southerner at heart with a background in professional photography, Tim’s love of the New Zealand landscape always foregrounds his architectural thinking. His work focuses on innovative use of materials, humble poetics of construction and an intimate understanding of inhabitation.
Tim previously worked on a number of award-winning projects as project architect for Parsonson Architects.
Key for Ana is placing people, their daily rituals and their enjoyment of space at the heart of any design, whilst simultaneously connecting the design to its broader landscape and context.
Ana’s background has included working on celebrated and award-winning residential, institutional and education projects at Tennent + Brown and Jasmax architects.

Kate Harford
Registered Architect ANZIA
A people person, Kate enjoys developing close working relationships with her clients. With a background in sustainable and social housing architecture, Kate is driven by the belief that great design can inspire, uplift and have a positive effect on personal well-being.
When not wielding a hammer or testing design ideas on her own home renovations, Kate can be found on the hockey pitch or in her garden.
Ben Stevens
Architectural Graduate NZIA
Amateur bee keeper, cycling fanatic and avid tramper, Ben is passionate about taking a humanist, pragmatic approach to design. He has a keen interest in materiality and the regional architectures of Japan and Australasia.
Ben has worked extensively in bar and restaurant design with Wellington designer Allistar Cox and the prominent Indian architectural practice Studio Mumbai. He has also undertaken architecture masterclasses with Australia’s award-winning Glenn Murcutt.
Molly Williams
Architectural Graduate NZIA
Molly sees architectural design as a tool for encouraging physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. The notion of architecture augmenting well-being motivates her daily life and her design practices.
Molly completed part of her studies in Germany and returned to New Zealand in 2016 with a desire to integrate her overseas design experiences into the New Zealand context.
